Ultimate Staffing is hiring for an experienced AR Clerk for an amazing company with a great culture located in Santa Clara, CA. This is an onsite position with a pay range of $28 to $32/hr.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced AR Clerk to join our growing accounting team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable (AR) and a proven ability to manage a high volume of invoicing, collections, and reconciliations. The AR Clerk will handle a portfolio of 300+ active accounts, interacting primarily via email and portals. Experience with military and government customers is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage and process invoices, track payments, and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Collections: Work with customers to resolve outstanding balances and maintain accurate records.
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Invoice data entry, payment processing and Invoice filing.
  • Reconciliations: Ensure AR records are reconciled, accurate, and up to date.
  • Volume Management: Process an average of 30 invoices per day.
  • Customer Interaction: Handle communication with clients through email and online portals; answer phone calls and greet visitors.
  • Paperwork: Organize and manage significant paper records related to AR.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on AR, invoicing, and collections.
  • Software: Sage MAS 90 experience preferred, but other accounting software experience is acceptable.
  • Volume: Comfortable with processing high volumes of transactions.
  • Customer Interaction: Experience working with military and government customers is advantageous.
  • Organization: Ability to manage 300+ active accounts with attention to detail.
